“We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at The Farm at Buzzard Rock. Most of the farm house has been recently renovated and the master suite is just gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful and the hiking trails follow a nice river and are as easy or as difficult as you prefer. I will definitely stay there again and again”.

“This farm stay at Buzzard Rock was FANTASTIC. We were surrounded by beautiful rolling pastures and 20 acres of wooded area with walking trails buffeted by a creek off the Yadkin River. It was wonderful to sun on “flat rock” and splash in the cool fresh spring water. I can’t wait to return and meander down the rolling water, over smooth rocks in this shallow creek, with 3 foot pools. I’ll float to the historic “Buzzard Rock” overhang and ponder or take the trail.

After enjoying the property I headed back to the Farm House and warmed my tootsie’s at the fireplace, with a warm “tottie”. This heritage home has all the charm of the “days gone by” with beautiful original wood reconditioned countertops, and original wood plank floors, refinished to a shine.I’m going back! This stay was restorative and exhilarating. I put some serious steps on my fitbit. Thank you to the hosts, they were wonderful”.

Delightful Farmhouse for our family (8 adults and 6 children under 8) to use as ‘home base’ to attend a wedding. The house was clean, spacious and the grounds an outdoorsy play wonderland. From rafting on the river, to hiking in the woods or catching fireflies at dusk, the farmhouse was a perfect setting. The linens were great and beds comfy. Roxanne, our hostess was friendly, accommodating and highly responsive. Shopping trip to the Shiloh General Store is a must! This gem of a farm experience is your location for retreats, family reunions or home base for events or wineries.”

We had a wonderful stay at the farm. The house looks great as you approach and gets better when you get inside. Lots of space, very clean, and a bunch of thoughtful extras helped to make our stay memorable. My little children really enjoyed the little extra bedroom. They felt like they had their own little space which they were talking about all weekend. The private master above the garage was huge and very cosy at the same time. My entire family enjoyed the trails and splashing in the creek. Overall a beautiful place to stay. Very spacious and well appointed. We will definitely be back.”
