Guest Reviews

“We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at The Farm at Buzzard Rock. Most of the farm house has been recently renovated and the master suite is just gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful and the hiking trails follow a nice river and are as easy or as difficult as you prefer. I will definitely stay there again and again”.

Eleanor LLoyd

“This farm stay at Buzzard Rock was FANTASTIC. We were surrounded by beautiful rolling pastures and 20 acres of wooded area with walking trails buffeted by a creek off the Yadkin River. It was wonderful to sun on “flat rock” and splash in the cool fresh spring water. I can’t wait to return and meander down the rolling water, over smooth rocks in this shallow creek, with 3 foot pools. I’ll float to the historic “Buzzard Rock” overhang and ponder or take the trail.

After enjoying the property I headed back to the Farm House and warmed my tootsie’s at the fireplace, with a warm “tottie”. This heritage home has all the charm of the “days gone by ” with beautiful original wood reconditioned countertops, and original wood plank floors, refinished to a shine.

I’m going back! This stay was restorative and exhilarating. I put some serious steps on my fitbit. Thank you to the hosts, they were wonderful”.
