“We had a wonderfully relaxing stay at The Farm at Buzzard Rock. Most of the farm house has been recently renovated and the master suite is just gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful and the hiking trails follow a nice river and are as easy or as difficult as you prefer. I will definitely stay there again and again”.

“This farm stay at Buzzard Rock was FANTASTIC. We were surrounded by beautiful rolling pastures and 20 acres of wooded area with walking trails buffeted by a creek off the Yadkin River. It was wonderful to sun on “flat rock” and splash in the cool fresh spring water. I can’t wait to return and meander down the rolling water, over smooth rocks in this shallow creek, with 3 foot pools. I’ll float to the historic “Buzzard Rock” overhang and ponder or take the trail. After enjoying the property I headed back to the Farm House and warmed my tootsie’s at the fireplace, with a warm “tottie”. This heritage home has all the charm of the “days gone by ” with beautiful original wood reconditioned countertops, and original wood plank floors, refinished to a shine. I’m going back! This stay was restorative and exhilarating. I put some serious steps on my fitbit. Thank you to the hosts, they were wonderful”.

“We enjoyed our stay at the farm. There were cinnamon rolls and fresh eggs when we arrived such a nice surprise. The walk to Flat Rock is right on the property, we had a great time with the family. Roxanne is a very sweet host.l”

"Honestly the view was perfect we live in the city so it was very private. It honestly felt like home. And Roxanne was so sweet she helped out so much. My kids and little cousins loved seeing the farm animals every morning they wanted to go see the pigs. I would so recommend this lovely farm."

"Wonderful place to stay and we'd love to go back and spend more than a weekend. We had 10 people stay there comfortably without being on top of each other. Rooms were all spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was plenty large to cook and serve everyone. Beautiful surroundings. We walked to the river and enjoyed watching the farm animals. Loved the pastries and wine they left for us and there was a pantry of staples if you forget anything. Roxanne was very quick to respond and be helpful. Can't think of a single complaint or suggestion for a change. "
